WORK-BASED LEARNING
ROP believes that students learn best through hands-on activities that teach valuable skills not covered in regular classroom programs. By actively engaging in these experiences, students can gain practical knowledge and abilities that help them succeed in the real world.
FOCUSED CURRICULUM
For every ROP course, around 8 local businesses work together to create a strong and up-to-date curriculum. These businesses help ensure that the courses teach skills that are important and needed in today’s job market. This way, students learn what they need to know to succeed in their future careers.
BUSINESS PARTNERSHIPS
Local businesses support ROP by offering learning sites and providing the latest industry-standard technology for classrooms. This ensures students get hands-on experience with real tools and equipment. In return, ROP trains students to become skilled workers, ready to meet the needs of these businesses, benefiting both the students and the local community.
REGIONAL DELIVERY
ROP carefully studies job trends to ensure its programs meet the needs of local employers. This way, students learn the skills that are in demand in their community. By doing this, ROP helps students find jobs or pursue advanced training after completing their courses, giving them a better chance at a successful career, one step at a time.
