Construction Technology
The Construction Technology pathway prepares students for careers in construction and building-related trades by introducing them to the skills and knowledge used on modern job sites. Students learn how construction projects are planned, built, and maintained while developing practical, hands-on experience.
Instruction focuses on construction safety, tool and equipment use, building materials, measurement, and basic construction techniques. Students also learn problem-solving, teamwork, and professional work habits that are essential in construction and trade environments.
This pathway supports preparation for entry-level construction careers and provides a strong foundation for apprenticeships, trade school programs, or continued education in construction management or related fields. Students may also have opportunities to prepare for industry-recognized safety or construction-related certifications.
