Emergency Response
The Emergency Response pathway prepares students for careers focused on protecting public safety and responding to medical and emergency situations. Students gain an understanding of how emergency response systems operate and how professionals work together in high-pressure environments to provide care and assistance.
Instruction focuses on emergency medical fundamentals, patient assessment, basic life-saving skills, safety procedures, and incident response protocols. Students also develop teamwork, leadership, communication, and decision-making skills that are essential in emergency and public safety careers.
This pathway supports preparation for careers in emergency medical services, fire services, and public safety, and provides a strong foundation for continued education or certification in emergency response fields. Students may also have opportunities to prepare for CPR, first aid, or emergency response–related certifications that support career readiness.
