Production & Managerial Arts: Photography
The Photography pathway introduces students to both traditional and digital photography while developing technical skills and creative expression. Students learn how cameras work, how lighting and composition affect images, and how photographs are used to communicate ideas and tell stories.
Instruction focuses on camera operation, lighting techniques, composition, and digital image editing. Students gain hands-on experience capturing, editing, and presenting images while learning professional practices and visual storytelling skills.
This pathway supports preparation for careers in photography, media, and creative industries, as well as continued education in photography, visual arts, or digital media programs. Students may also have opportunities to prepare for industry-recognized photography or digital media certifications.
